Just saw an article this morning in Vogue..."How do you know when it's Over?" And a second title was, "How to win him Back."
Ladies, first of all, it's over when you say it is. And second of all, if you have to "win" him back, you don't want him back...MOVE ON!
I'm sorry, but there isn't much I can stand about a woman chasing after a bad relationship. If it was a good one, it wouldn't be over. Now, I'm not talking about a long-standing marriage that seems to have taken a right turn for a bit. I'm specifically referring to the young relationships of a non-legal standing. (Boyfriend & Girlfriend).
This is the pre-marriage screening phase of a relationship. Obviously it didn't workout, so move on and up! You try on more than one piece of clothing or shoes before you settle on the perfect item don't you? Well, why on earth would you spend more time time selecting a temporary garment than you would a permanent mate? SAMPLE!
Love is a recipe and it takes time to cultivate and adjust. You try several different ones before you find your personal comfort food, so don't be dissuaded by having to throw out a bad batch every now and again. There's more ingredients out there! You're not a bad cook and you can do this, you just need to find your inspiration, so keep looking, don't suffer with a bad meal when a five star is out there waiting for you to discover it.

He observed her as she walked across the café with a sense of urgency while frequently looking behind herself. It wasn’t her behavior that got his attention, as much as it was, her eyes.
Black as cauldrons and as vast as space that seem to go on forever, not vacant, but mysterious with a hint of fear.
He was bored anyway, and she was hella hotness on a spoon, he became transfixed on her every move. Soon she notices her shadow. After she finishes her task, she turns curtly on her heels to come face-to-face with him. She gives him a penetrating look that exposes his deviant behavior.
She asks demandingly, “May I help you with something?”
With a mild smirk on his face he replies, “I don’t know, can you?”
Her eyes narrow as she purses her lips while she looks him up and down assessing the level of (reaction/response) she’s going to give him. Just before she replies, she notices…

The state of the Economy...Well mine at least.
My life is rapidly turning into a typical country song cliche. I'm broke, unemployed, my house is getting absorbed by the city for a freeway expansion and now my husband was informed that the college he works for is closing down and they don't have any money to offer severance packages. Oops, sorry; was their sentimentality. (Yea me!)
What to do what to do...Well, it got me thinking and then inspiration struck! So I started doing the one thing I can do with little to no resources or investment, I started to write something. No not a letter to the editor or the Governor; both viable ideas, but frivolous effort at best. No this is something much more revenue based and timely, tell me what you think...
Drawing my inspiration from the culmination between the Facebook founders recent bio flick and the higher-ups versus the little people in the college cut-back's, I decided to draw from life and create a tale of struggle. Something I titled, "Nex Gen Overlords: It's Ruled by Design." It's an exaggeration of "1984" meets modern day conspiracy theory with a dash of hedonistic capitalism for good measure.
The tale opens twenty years in the future and looks back to our present time. Basically it narrates the eventual decay of society on a global scale as we submit to the technology that we have all become so dependent upon. This creates a new generation of global leaders, a select few that have the knowledge to design, create and operate the worlds technologies. These collective few include an antagonist and protagonist character, the dark versus the light of course. The bulk of the masses are either devolved into drones or worshipers. The collective evolves into a futuristic demigod for the cult followers. And all of this is played out in a tangible environment that my fellow conspiracy theorists can really get their teeth into.
So what do you think? Send me your feed back. Love to show you some excerpts.
How does this relate to my personal economics? Well, this I can sell by chapter to several magazines who have already shown interest on spec. Eventually I see this entire story from beginning to end in novel form already, so we'll have to wait and see (hope-hope). In the meantime, it certainly has taken my mind off the rest of my woes.
